To register for the AWARE Fish Identification Instructor specialist course, you must:

• Be a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor or be currently enrolled or have completed an IDC/OWSI course within the past 12 months.
• IDC/OWSI applicants may apply for Specialized Instructor certification only after successful completion of IE training.
• Recent diving experiences – We recommend that you Review of diving Completed if you have not dived for 12 months.
• Good health and no congenital diseases that would be an obstacle in learning to dive.

Upon successful completion of all course requirements, you must provide evidence of 10 recorded fish identification dives.

The PADI AWARE Fish Identification Instructor specialized course lasts 1 day.

The course consists of two parts:

• knowledge development
• Open Water Training – 1 time Fish Identification dive training

Developing AWARE Fish ID knowledge

AWARE Fish Identification Specialized Instructor Course Consists of 1 dive training session.

There is also a knowledge development section that is done before we do diving training.

In the knowledge development section You must do the following:

• Presenting the development of knowledge from the specialized manual AWARE Fish Identification. By teaching questions that were left out of the knowledge review.
• Review and understand the objectives and goals of the PADI Fish Identification Specialty Course.
• Review and understand the standards and procedures for the AWARE Fish Identification course. from the PADI Specialty Course Instructor Manual and lists all student and instructor equipment requirements.
• Demonstrate expertise in developing all knowledge
• Explain how to control every part of Diving course in a manner that allows the diver to complete the course requirements.
• Attend a marketing and promotion workshop where you will learn techniques for promoting your AWARE Fish Identification specialized course. for students and the diving community
• Attend a pricing workshop

Diving training AWARE Fish ID Open Water

There are 2 Fish Identification dive training sessions to become a Fish Identification learner diver.

During the Fish Identification Instructor course, you must complete all diving requirements. which must at least practice diving 1 time out of 2 times

Before diving, you must explain the PADI Fish Identification Diving Training Considerations. Let the students listen

During open water diving training you must:

• Demonstrate proficiency in all aquatic skills requirements for the Fish Identification course.
• Offers open water diving instruction from the Fish Identification course.
• Demonstrate proficiency in all Fish Identification requirements.

Congratulations, you are now an AWARE Fish Identification Specialist Instructor.
