The PADI Wreck Specialist Instructor Course gives you the knowledge and skills to teach exciting and popular PADI courses.

To register for the PADI Wreck Diver Instructor Specialty Course you must:
- Be an Open Water Scuba Instructor or be currently enrolled or have completed an IDC/OWSI course within the past 12 months.
- IDC/OWSI applicants may apply for Specialized Instructor certification only after successful completion of IE training.
- Recent diving experiences – We recommend that you Review of diving Completed if you have not dived for 12 months.
- Good health and no congenital diseases that would be an obstacle in learning to dive.
Upon successful completion of all requirements You must provide proof of 10 recorded dives.
The PADI Wreck Diver Instructor Specialized Course lasts 1 day.
The course consists of two parts:

Wreck Diver knowledge development
The PADI Wreck Diver Specialized Instructor Course includes two Open Water dive training sessions at the HTMS Sattakut Wreck.
There is also a knowledge development section that is usually done before we practice diving.
As for the development of knowledge, you must perform the following actions:
- Develops knowledge from the PADI Wreck manual by teaching questions left out of the review.
- Review and understand the objectives and goals of the PADI Wreck Diver Specialty Course.
- Review and explain Wreck Diver course standards and procedures from the PADI Specialty Course Instructor Manual and list all learner and instructor equipment requirements.
- Demonstrate expertise in developing all knowledge
- Explains how to control all parts of the course in a way that allows the diver to meet the course requirements.
- Attend a marketing and promotion workshop where you will learn techniques for promoting your PADI Boat Diver Specialty Course to students and the diving community.
- Attend a pricing workshop
Wreck Diver training in open water
There are 4 Wreck training dives required to become a PADI Wreck Specialty Diver.
During the Wreck Instructor course you must complete all diving requirements. which must at least practice diving 4 times out of 2 total
Before diving, you must explain the considerations for taking the open water wreck viewing course for divers.
During open water diving training you must:
- Demonstrate mastery of all water skills requirements for the Wreck course.
- Offers open water diving instruction from the Wreck Diver specialized course.
- Demonstrates all requirements of a Wreck diver specialty diver in open water.
Upon completion of all course requirements, you will receive PADI Wreck Diver Specialty certification.
