To register for the PADI Night Diver Specialty Course you must:
- Be a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor or be currently enrolled or have completed an IDC/OWSI course within the past 12 months.
- IDC/OWSI applicants may apply for Specialized Instructor certification only after successful completion of the IE.
- Recent diving experiences – We recommend that you Review of diving Completed if you have not dived for 12 months.
- Good health and no congenital diseases that would be an obstacle in learning to dive.
Upon successful completion of all course requirements, you must provide evidence of 10 recorded fish identification dives.
PADI Night Diver Instructor Specialized Course lasts 1 day.

Knowledge Development Night Diver Instructor

- Presents knowledge development from the PADI Night Specialist Guide by teaching questions left out of the review.
- Review and understand the objectives and goals of the PADI Night Specialty Course.
- Review and explain Night Diver course standards and procedures from the PADI Specialty Course Instructor Manual and list all student and instructor equipment requirements.
- Demonstrate expertise in developing all knowledge
- Explains how to control all parts of the course in a way that allows the diver to meet the course requirements.
- Attend a marketing and promotion workshop where you will learn techniques for promoting your AWARE Fish Identification specialized course. for students and the diving community
- Attend a pricing workshop
Night Diver Instructor Open Water Training Course
There are 3 training dives for night divers in the Night Diver specialized course.
During the Night Diver Instructor specific course, you must complete all diving requirements. Which at least must practice diving 3 times out of 1 time
Before diving, you must explain the Night Diver training considerations to the learner.
During diving training you must:
- Demonstrate mastery of all water skills requirements for the Night Diving Specialty Course.
- Offering Open Water diving instruction from a specialized night diver course.
- Demonstrate proficiency in all Night diver specialty Open Water requirements.
When all requirements are completed You will receive a certified PADI Night Diver Specialty Instructor.
