The PADI Equipment Specialist Instructor course teaches you how to:

Learn to teach the Equipment Specialty course to scuba diving students.

This beginner level diving equipment course is a good course for Certified diver Common equipment problems and professional maintenance procedures are taught.
The PADI Equipment Specialist course teaches your student how to handle basic equipment repairs and adjustments, which will make your student more comfortable with the equipment and prepared to take care of it themselves.
The Equipment Specialist Instructor course on Koh Tao includes the following:

Developing equipment expert knowledge
The PADI Equipment Specialist Instructor course includes knowledge development sections and hands-on assessments with skills presentations.
In the knowledge development section You must do the following:
- Presents knowledge development from the PADI Equipment Specialist course manual by teaching questions left out of the review.
- Review and understand the objectives and goals of the PADI Equipment Specialist course.
- Reviews and explains the Equipment Specialist course standards and procedures from the PADI Specialty Course Instructor Manual and lists all student and instructor equipment requirements.
- Demonstrate expertise in developing all knowledge
- Explains how to control all parts of the course in a way that allows the diver to meet the course requirements.
- Attend a marketing and promotion workshop where you will learn promotion techniques. PADI Boat Diver specialized courses for learners and the diving community.
- Attend a pricing workshop
Equipment expert skill development
There are 4 main things you need to know about diving equipment such as BCD regulators, masks, fins and dive computers.
The four stories include:
- Theory, principles and operation of diving equipment.
- Routine use, recommended routine care and maintenance, and equipment storage.
- Common problems with professional equipment and maintenance procedures Including repair steps
- Simple instructions for configuring your device and getting to know your new device.
Once all performance requirements have been completed You will be certified as a PADI Equipment Specialist Specialty Instructor.
PADI fees 2024
PADI Emergency Equipment Specialist Instructors have an application fee of AUD 131.
