To register for a PADI diver course you must:
- Age 10 years and up
- Good health and no congenital diseases that would be an obstacle in learning to dive.
- Float for 10 minutes.
The course takes more than 1.5 – 2 days.
The course consists of three parts:
- Knowledge development – Do e-learning before coming to study or the teacher teaches in the room.
- Diving practice in closed water – in shallow bays around Koh Tao or swimming pools.
- Open Water Diving Training – 2 dives at dive sites on Koh Tao.

Classic diver course schedule:
Day 1 :
1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Orientation
1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Knowledge Development (Scuba Diving Theory) Modules 1-3
Day 2 :
08.00 – 11.00 hrs.: Practice diving in closed water 1-3 times
11.00 – 12.00 hrs.: Eat lunch
12.30 – 17.00 hrs.: Practice diving 1st and 2nd time.
Floats in water for 10 minutes.
You are now a PADI certified scuba diver with a PADI Professional Scuba Diving Card to a depth of 12 meters.
Scuba divers’ class schedule via E-learning
Day 1 :
5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Online orientation and review of being a scuba diver with e-learning.
Day 2 :
08.00 – 11.00 hrs.: Practice diving in closed water 1-3 times
11.00 – 12.00 hrs.: Eat lunch
12.30 – 17.00 hrs.: Practice diving 1st and 2nd time.
Floats in water for 10 minutes.
You are now a PADI certified scuba diver with a 12 meter diving license with PADI Professional Diver.

Option 1
Classic scuba diving course
Orientation and knowledge development
We begin the Classic Scuba Diving course at 1:00 PM with orientation which includes completing paperwork and a PADI medical statement.
The Scuba Diver Knowledge Development Course consists of 3 sections, each with a video. Briefly review knowledge and 10 multiple choice questions
Your instructor will help you develop your knowledge, including introducing diving equipment and dive computers.
The theory of diving discussed is Effects of water pressure Basic pressure theory Safety Principles and Buddy System
Review knowledge development by the teacher for about half a day.

PADI E-learning scuba diver course
Orientation and knowledge development
Choose an online diver e-learning course to make the most of your vacation. No need to study in the classroom!
Skip one day of class and spend more time on the beach or scuba diving!
We can teach an online e-learning orientation and review session in the evening before we take you to the closed water source. Or go the next morning Whatever is easier for you.

Snorkeling training and closed dive sites
This part of the diving training takes place in shallow water. The water is deep enough for your head to stick out of the water.
We’ll start with simple breathing through the regulator, standing and practicing underwater to practice balance.
Your instructor will demonstrate each skill for you. You will have time to practice each skill as best you can.
The skills you will practice are:
- Cleaning the Regulator
- Washing the mask
- Using alternative air sources
- buoyancy control
- Correct swimming technique and body position
- Techniques for going underwater and getting out of the water
- Hand signals and underwater communication
PADI scuba divers to explore the seas
Once you feel confident with your underwater skills, it’s time to start having fun and excitement. It’s time to explore the sea .
You can bring new knowledge and skills. From this course, when I went to practice scuba diving in Open Water 2 times in the Open Water diving course.
Diversity and marine life on Koh Tao
Diving takes place at dive sites around Koh Tao, including Mango Bay, Japanese Garden, Twin Rocks and Ao Luek . Your instructor will assist you.
We will ask you to repeat some of the skills in an enclosed dive site and as you become more comfortable with floating in the water we will begin teaching you body position and swimming techniques.
There will be plenty of time for you to explore the ocean to see colorful corals and reef fish such as angelfish, bannerfish and parrotfish.
When diving on Koh Tao, you will encounter stingrays. Two native sea anemone and sea turtle species.
The first two training dives are at a maximum depth of 12 meters. You will then receive a PADI scuba diver certification that allows you to dive to a depth of 12 meters with a professional diver anywhere in the world.
The course takes one and a half days to complete. We can start the course either in the morning or afternoon on the first day, depending on your travel plans.
You will learn 3 lessons of diving theory. You will dive in swimming pools or shallow bays around Koh Tao.
You will do 2 open water dives at beautiful dive sites. Two places on Koh Tao
The PADI Scuba Diver course is part of the PADI Open Water course for people who have limited time but want to become a certified diver.
You will study 3 of 5 diving theory lessons in the PADI Open Water course, 3 of 5 closed water dives in a swimming pool and 2 of 4 open water dives in the ocean.
You will be a certified diver after completing the PADI Scuba Diver course.
Certified divers can dive to depths of up to 12 meters worldwide.
Divers are not allowed to dive independently and must dive under the supervision of a PADI Professional at all times.
This certification is valid for life and divers between the ages of 10 – 14 can receive the Junior Scuba Diver certification.
The cost of the PADI Scuba Diver course is 9,300 baht per person, including all learning materials. equipment rental fee (Diving computer), instructor fee, boat trip and insurance.
This price does not include food and accommodation. You can contact us for accommodation information. We have discounted rooms when taking diving lessons with us.
It is possible to upgrade to an Open Water diver once certified as a PADI Scuba Diver.
In this case, you must complete the remainder of the Open Water course that has not been completed in the Scuba Diver course.
You will complete two parts of diving theory, plus a PADI Open Water final exam, two closed water dives and two open water ocean dives.
Once certified Scuba Diver, we will refresh your diving knowledge and skills in advance.
