The PADI Deep Diver Specialty Instructor Course provides learners with the knowledge and skills needed to teach PADI Deep Specialty , one of the most popular PADI Specialty courses available.

To register for the PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course you must:
- Be a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor or currently taking or have completed an IDC/OWSI course within the past 12 months.
- IDC/OWSI applicants may apply for Specialized Instructor certification only after successful completion of IE training.
- Recent diving experiences – We recommend that you Review of diving Completed if you have not dived for 12 months.
- Good health and no congenital diseases that would be an obstacle in learning to dive.
Upon successful completion of all requirements You must provide proof of 10 recorded dives.
The PADI Deep Diver Specialized Course lasts 1 day.
The course consists of two parts:

- Open Water Training – 2 dive training sessions

Day 1:
09.00 – 11.30 hrs.: Orientation and knowledge development
12.30 – 17.00 hrs.: 1st and 2nd scuba diving training

PADI Deep Diver Specialist Instructor Course Information
Deep Diver Specialized Knowledge Development
The PADI Deep Diver Specialized Instructor course consists of two training dives at beautiful scuba diving locations around Koh Tao.
There is also a knowledge development section that is usually done before we practice diving.
As for the development of knowledge, you must perform the following actions:
- Presents the development of knowledge from the PADI Deep diver specialty manual by teaching questions that were left out from the knowledge review.
- Review and understand the objectives and goals of the PADI Deep diver specialist course.
- Review and explain the Deep Diver course standards and procedures from the PADI Specialty Instructor Manual and list all learner and instructor equipment requirements.
- Demonstrate expertise in developing all knowledge
- Explains how to control all parts of the course in a way that allows the diver to meet the course requirements.
- Attend a marketing and promotion workshop where you will learn techniques for promoting your PADI Boat Diver Specialty Course to students and the diving community.
- Attend a pricing workshop
Open water diving training on the Deep Diver specialized course on Koh Tao.
There are 4 training dives on the course to become a PADI Deep diver.
During the Deep Specialty Instructor course, you must complete all diving requirements. Which requires at least 2 practice dives out of 4 times.
Before diving, you must explain to the learner the considerations for the specialty diver course in open water.
During diving training you must:
- Demonstrate proficiency in all aquatic skills requirements for the Deep specialty diver course.
- Offers diving instruction in open water from the Deep specialty diver course.
- Demonstrates all requirements of a deep diver, specialty diver in open water.
Congratulations, you are now a PADI Deep Diver Specialist Instructor.
